I am Ashley Mason, a Los Angeles-based technology leader, former FOX executive, founder of PulseKegel, product builder, author, and creator.
My career has been built around a practical question: how do you turn complicated technology into something people can actually use? That question has followed me from enterprise systems and media operations into AI adoption, independent products, books, music, video, and creative experiments.

Technology leadership with an operator's perspective.
I spent much of my enterprise career at FOX, leading technology work across promotional marketing, live-event production, and the systems that support creative organizations at scale. Earlier roles included technology, project, and business leadership at DIRECTV and across international markets.
The title changed over the years. The work stayed consistent: understand the real problem, connect people who see different parts of it, and build a solution durable enough to survive contact with the business.

I believe technology is only useful when it changes what someone can do. Strategy earns its value in execution. AI works best as a thinking partner, not a novelty. And reinvention is less about discarding the past than learning how to use it without being trapped by it.
These days I am less interested in appearing certain and more interested in becoming wiser: curious enough to revise my thinking, disciplined enough to finish, and open enough to let the work change me.
